Summary
July 9 is the release date for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, a revamped version arriving 13 years after the original with added story content, gameplay changes and technical upgrades.
New features include expanded combat and stealth options—such as crouching anywhere, chain takedowns on up to 4 enemies and earlier access to the rope dart—plus advanced parkour, ziplines and replayable Legendary Ship battles.
Naval and progression systems are also broadened with 3 new Jackdaw officers, returning Kenway’s Fleet, a larger Great Inagua hideout and new missions including Blackbeard and Stede Bonnet questlines and an endgame chapter.
On the technical side, Ubisoft highlighted dynamic ray-traced lighting, shifting weather powered by the Atmos system, customizable HUD presets and separate difficulty settings for combat, stealth, naval combat and activities.
The launch overview follows platform-specific performance disclosures this week, including Xbox Series X support up to 2160p/60FPS and PS5-family 60 FPS modes.
