Summary
Acting U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche authorized a Manhattan grand jury to issue subpoenas in a federal probe of Neville Roy Singham’s finances, with SDNY U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton leading the case.
Fox News Digital said Singham funneled $278 million into nonprofits since 2017, including about $22.44 million to Manhattan-based People’s Forum and at least $223 million into a wider global network.
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent separately warned Goldman Sachs CEO David Solomon that the bank could face scrutiny over Singham-linked transfers; Goldman said all distributions went to legal nonprofits, stopped in August 2023, and the account closed in early 2024.
Sen. Jim Banks, Rep. Pat Fallon and House Ways and Means Chairman Jason Smith publicly backed the investigation, while Banks also renewed claims that CodePink may need to register under FARA.
The latest probe expands earlier federal scrutiny of Singham’s activist network, which prior reports tied to anti-AI, anti-ICE and anti-Israel protests and to delayed data-center investments across 14 states.
