AWS Unveils Grok 4.3 and 20-Second ECS Scaling at New York Summit

AWS used its New York City Summit keynote to roll out a broad AI stack centered on “agentic” software, adding Grok 4.3 in Amazon Bedrock alongside new tools for work, coding, security and deployment.
Amazon Bedrock AgentCore gained general-availability infrastructure and orchestration features, web search, managed knowledge bases, guardrail policy integrations and an AWS Context service to map organizational data relationships.
AWS Continuum, also highlighted separately, packages AI-driven code vulnerability discovery, validation and remediation, while the AWS Security Agent adds threat modeling, pull-request scanning and IDE integrations.
Beyond AI software, AWS announced faster Amazon ECS auto scaling using 20-second metrics—cutting scale-out trigger time to 86 seconds from 363—and launched EC2 G7 instances with NVIDIA RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell GPUs.
The summit also bundled cost and marketplace updates, including S3 Vectors query-price cuts of up to 80% and an AWS Marketplace professional-services listing fee reduction to 0.5% from 2.5%.
