Pokémon Champions Adds 20-Plus Pokémon and Mobile Launch, Starting Season M3 Through July 8

June 17 brought Pokémon Champions to mobile and opened Season M3, which runs until July 8 and shifts the competitive game to a Hoenn-themed season.
Around 20 new additions headlined the update, including Mega Raichu X and Y plus several missing Mega Evolutions such as Sceptile, Blaziken, Swampert, Mawile and Metagross.
The patch also expanded battle options with items including Life Orb, Light Clay, Expert Belt and weather rocks, while the season pass adds Starmie, Starminite and a Canari-inspired trainer outfit.
Pokémon Champions launched earlier this year on Switch and Switch 2 and has already replaced Scarlet and Violet as the default Pokémon Video Game Championships title.
That competitive role will widen again on Aug. 28-30, when the game makes its Pokémon World Championships debut in San Francisco.
